Ms.  Joanna (Jing) Liu is a partner in the department of investment and M&A of Dentons China. Her specialties are investment and M&A, private equity and venture capital, foreign investment and bond issuance and she is qualified as an independent director and securities practitioner (issuance and underwriting) in China. Ms. Liu’s working languages are Mandarin, English and Cantonese. She is able to provide clients with cross-border, multilingual legal services.

Ms. Liu has served a number of large domestic and foreign enterprises as well as startups undergoing private equity financing, including Beijing Enterprises Water Group (one of the world’s top three water operators), China Metallurgical Group, China Unicom Cloud Data Ltd., Shanghai Zhongji Holding Co. (a Shanghai Stock Exchange-listed company), Doosan Infracore, 51 Credit Card and VDaifu. She has represented clients in Tangshan Sanyou Group’s M&A with a Russian pulp mill, ASSA ABLOY’s (a Sweden-listed company) acquisition of Guoqiang Hardware, 51 Credit’s domestic acquisition of 99 Installments, and China Metallurgical Group’s overseas bond issuance. She has also represented a number of startups undergoing A, B and C rounds of private equity financing. As a member of the department of investment and M&A of Dentons China, she can provide clients with transaction structure design, due diligence and transaction document drafting for corporate business, domestic and foreign financing, and M&A as well as tax-related legal services.
